Equity and Inclusion

The Reed Union School District community is committed to creating and sustaining an inclusive, equitable and respectful environment in which each person has a sense of belonging and is provided the support to thrive.

The Reed Union School District community believes that valuing visible and invisible diversity is essential for an inclusive teaching and learning environment that fosters educational excellence for all.

Building off the success of the work done at Del Mar Middle School during 2023-2024, RUSD is pursuing a partnership between Changing Perspectives and Reed Union School District for the 2024-2025 academic year.  RUSD strives to work with Changing Perspectives for holistic and transformative support for all members of the RUSD educational community by fostering social-emotional learning and cultivating inclusive and equitable learning environments for all students. 

Component of the RUSD program may include, but are not limited to:

·       Family Programs

·       Site Visits 

·       Staff Coaching Meetings

·       RUSD Data Collection and Analysis
