Bel Aire Specialist's report: Art with Stephani Caldwell!

print

Print making, print making, print making! Third graders are making prints of their favorite desserts. They are designing interesting patterns around their desserts. Students will each make two prints using a variety of inks and paper. Fourth graders are making prints of endangered animals with patterns fashioned after Native American designs. Fifth graders are making prints of an African-American hero for Black History month. Students will be making a monoprint on plexiglass with printing ink of their hero. They are all very unique and showcase their individual talent. I am so pleased with their dedication and progress in art this year.
Print making requires so much newspaper and if there are newspapers at your house, please send them to the art room rather than recycling. We would appreciate it so much.
