Dear Parents and Students:

Welcome to the 2011-12 school year at Bel Aire Elementary School! Our welcome banner states, "You are entering a community of learners, inventors, creators, explorers, thinkers, problem solvers, peacemakers and friends. We are proud of our team of staff, students and parents. We are proud of our school."

We welcome you to an exciting 2011-12 school year! Our staff has been working and planning many new adventures for your children. We welcome three new staff members to our team: Mr. Ryan Davis, 3rd grade; Ms. Lexie Cala, 4th grade and; Mr. Glenn Berry, 4th grade.

If you are new to Bel Aire or returning, there are several changes: all the pertinent school information (handbooks, forms to complete, etc.) are all on our website (http://belaire.reedschools.org). You are asked to review information online and print any forms that must be signed and returned. We will also be posting class lists online at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24th.

Please be part of our team and carefully read through our Parent/Student Handbook. We have outlined procedures and policies that help keep our students safe and our school operating efficiently. We have also included our "CITIZENSHIP" book. This highlights our expectations for behavior and the many programs we will offer to support the social development of our students.
