| Hope Walks Hope Walks is dedicated to meeting the needs of orphaned children affected by violence or displacement in resource, poor countries. Bel Aire School recently sent two laptops with organizer Dr. Ammann to Monrovia, Liberia, so the orphans at his hospital there can communicate with our students via the Internet. On Sunday, Oct. 25th, the Bel Aire Student Solar Cooking Club participated in a "walk" at Dominican University. They were invited by Dr. Ammann's group to do an "educational" booth about solar cooking. Our students' displays were showcased during the Student "educators" shared rice and beans cooked in the solar ovens, and explained to festival goers the power of solar cooking and the importance of helping others. "Hope Walks" events support orphan children internationally. For more information on HOPE WALKS, please visit... http://www.hopewalks.org | ![]() |
