"Mo -Mo - Mo - Mo - Mosaic
Mo -Mo - Mo - Mo - Mosaic
"M" is for mutual respect,
Don't put me down, and don't hurt me."
MOSAIC theme song.

January marked the beginning of the school-wide MOSAIC project at Bel Aire.  The team from the MOSAIC Project presented three grade-level, inter-active assemblies, with the theme, "Mutual Respect." Discussions included being tolerant and empathetic, "put downs" vs. "put ups," how teasing hurts, even when you're joking with friends.

On Thursday, teachers ran a slide show covering different places, and students strategized what Mutual Respect looks like under different circumstances. Places discussed included: the school bus, the classroom, on the playground, and even in the restroom!
